![]() ![]() I think EVERYTHING about this game thus far minus everything player side NEEDS to be toned down, I just got hit with a 45x 2 both AP and HP attack on turn 3round of my 4th fight, and every enemy (3) each had 3 buffs and i was hit 2 debuffs each disciple. I think is BS, I have yet to get even from what I read HALF WAY through the 1st book. Killing me by turn 2 when I need at least 3 turns to even begin fighting for real is just maddening after dumping an hour into a campaign.I must be playing a different game, everyone saying that the game is either just fine, or not hard. Or reduce the damage so I can actually live long enough to beat the damn mechanic. I'm not gonna pretend to be an expert on game design but, I mean damn, if you're gonna give the guy who's hitting me for 16x4 invincibilty, allow me to stun him or something when I make him vulnerable. In this fight, by the second turn I'm being faced with 80 damage on one disciple and absolutely no way to remove the damage source because it's immortal for essentially 3 turns? It just seems like really poor design with a cheap run-ender that you simply have no way of beating. ![]() The kicker is, it's incredibly hard to stay alive when they're dishing out 50-80 damage a turn FFS. You have to do this THREE times before you get rid of the immunity for the rest of the fight. This will allow you to damage the other characters as long for one turn, until the immunity comes back again next turn. To get rid of this immunity you need to make the Fanatic vulnerable. 2 of them are immune to damage as long as the the guy in the center, The Fanatic, is alive. It's an elite fight where you fight against 3 characters. I'm having a very good run, a great composition of skills and relics for a very good balance so I don't feel like I got bamboozled simply because I made some bad choices along the way.įor those who haven't reached this fight yet: The complexity of decision making makes each event important and a good time.Ĭoming across this Elite encounter, however, just seems completely unfair. ![]() For the record: So far, having a complete blast with the game. ![]()
